Projectile Energy Conservation

In a projectile motion, is the energy at any point conserved? Is the k.e. and p.e. will interchange? What are the conditions assumed?

In projectile motion mechanical energy will be conserved as long as there is no air resistance. In the absence of air resistance, ke and pe do exchange.
